How Risky Is It with FSGS

How Risky Is It with FSGSWhen just diagnosed with FSGS, patients may have few knowledge about such a disease. How risky is it with FSGS? In the following, I will tell you more information about FSGS.

What is FSGS?

FSGS is associated with IgG, C3 and other inflammatory factors lodging in renal capillaries. These deposited inflammatory factors are called immune complexes. They can cause kidney inflammation. In short term, inflammation can eliminate immune complexes from the kidneys. But over time, active inflammatory response damages normal kidney cells, leading to kidney sclerosis. As a result, protein leaks through capillaries.

FSGS is risky without timely and effective treatment.

Without timely and effective treatment, your kidneys will gradually become sclerotic. And then a lot of symptoms appear, such as foamy urine, swelling, nausea, vomiting, headache, fatigue, shortness of breath, etc. Besides, it may cause many complications, such as heart disease, which may threaten your life.

FSGS is difficult to treat, but there are still therapies to help you.

When kidney are sclerotic, no treatment can save them. Therefore, we should prevent the kidneys from sclerosis as early as possible. FSGS patients are usually not sensitive to routine western medicines, such as steroids and immunosuppressants, so we have to try some other therapies.

The sclerotic kidney tissues can not be treated, but the inflammatory ones can be repaired and then you can improve kidney function to certain extent. In Shijiazhuang Kidney Disease Hospital, there is a set of treatment consisted of Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy, Foot Bath, Mai Kang and decoction. They can help you increase blood flow into the kidneys so as to improve ischemia and anoxia. They can also combine with immune complexes, split them and remove them from the kidneys so as to reduce kidney inflammation. Moreover, they can provide the kidneys with essential nutrients to speed up kidney recovery. Besides these therapies, you can also take advantage of biotherapy to enhance your kidney function further.
