What Should I Expect with Stage 3 FSGS

What Should I Expect with Stage 3 FSGS“I got stage 3 of FSGS, what should I expect?” In this article, we will give you an introduction on FSGS prognosis. Hope it can help you.

FSGS may get relapse frequently.

FSGS is often shown as Nephrotic Syndrome. Because many FSGS patients are steroid-resistant, the combination of steroids and immunosuppressants is often used. Those medications are only to suppress immune system to reduce renal inflammation so as to bring down proteinuria rather than repair kidney damage, so it is likely for you to get relapse, especially when you are under inducements, such as infections. Besides, when you taper the dosage of medicine, inflammation may flare up and cause relapse.

FSGS may progress into kidney failure so that you have to start dialysis or do kidney transplant.

Frequent relapse can impair kidney damage and speed up progression to kidney failure. At present, FSGS is one of the most common forms of acquired glomerular disease leading to ESRD. For FSGS patients with an aggressive form of FSGS, it only takes 2-3 years to reach kidney failure.

FSGS can be controlled very well.

Not all FSGS patients will go into ESRD. There are a portion of renal patients that can control the progression of disease. Here we recommend you to try a comprehensive treatment, which can help you reach this purpose. It is Toxin-Removing Treatment, also known as Detoxification Therapy. It is made up of a variety of therapies, such as Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy, Medicated Bath, Foot Bath, Enema Therapy, Cycle Therapy, etc. Those therapies can work together to increase your urine output, improve your bowel movement and make you sweat so as to eliminate waste products and extra fluid from body. They can also restore the balance of anti-inflammatory cytokines and pro-inflammatory cytokines to reduce renal inflammation and control the disease from getting worse. Moreover, they can dilate blood vessels and clear up stasis to ensure blood flow to be fluent, and then enough essential elements such as oxygen, nutrients, and active ingredients of medicine can be transported into nidus to speed up kidney recovery. After about one month’s treatment, your swelling will fade away. Proteinuria will turn negative. And FSGS will be under control.

What should I expect with stage 3 FSGS? Now you are clear about it. If you still have any other questions on FSGS, please leave a message below or contact online doctor.
