How to Deal with Foamy Urine with FSGS

How to Deal with Foamy Urine with FSGSFSGS is a disease that scar the glomerular filters of the kidneys so that protein leaks out of the body. How to deal with foamy urine with FSGS?

-Reduce the intake of protein

If you have massive proteinuria, you should limit the intake of protein, in case that too much protein consumption worsens your proteinuria. But you can eat moderate high quality protein to satisfy the need of your body, such as egg white and lean meat.

-ACEI or ARB to lower blood pressure

ACEI and ARB are often used to help control the blood pressure. When the pressure against the vascular wall decreases, protein leakage will also reduce. Besides, they can protect your kidney function to certain extent.

-Steroid and other immunosuppressants

Steroids and other immunosuppressants such as cellcept are also often used to inhibit kidney inflammation and decrease the permeability of capillaries so as to reduce protein leakage. But this kind of treatment has many side effects, such as weight gain and bone disease.

-Repair the damaged kidneys

The above ways can only help you control proteinuria rather than repair the damaged kidneys. As long as you stop the medicine or reduce the dosage, the inflammatory reaction in the kidneys will be triggered again so that proteinuria comes back again. The fundamental way is to repair the damaged kidneys. Though Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) takes effect slower than western medicine, but it does good to the kidneys. It can remove stasis and expand blood vessels to increase blood flow into the kidneys. It can also remove toxins and inflammatory factors from the blood so as to reduce their damage to kidneys. Moreover, it can stop kidney inflammation and fibrosis. Long-term treatment with TCM can help the damaged kidneys restore their function and then your urine becomes normal.

FSGS is a severe kidney disease. Without timely and effective treatment, it will develop to kidney failure quickly. Hope you are the luck one to get rid of kidney failure and live a normal life. If you have any question, please feel free to contact online doctor.
