What We Should Do with Depression due to FSGS

Question: My 21 year old son has FSGS. He has had this for about 10 months and is getting very depressed about not getting any better. We are trying very hard to keep his spirits up, however, it is really becoming very trying on us all. If we could get him to talk with others around his age, I think it would really help his mind set. What are your suggestions?

What We Should Do with Depression due to FSGSAnswer: Focal Segmental Glomerulonephritis is a type of severe kidney disease, which scars some part of glomeruli so as to affect their normal function. This disease is incurable. But we can control the disease and prevent it from developing kidney failure.

What treatment does your son receive now? The most common used medicines for FSGS is prednisone, cyclosporin A and some other steroids and immunosuppressants. For steroid-sensitive patients, they can quickly eliminate symptoms such as proteinuria and swelling. But for steroid-dependent and steroid-resistant patients, they are not good, because they can bring many side effects, such as mental depression, mood changes, nervousness, aggression, agitation, anxiety, trouble thinking, speaking, or walking, etc. I think his depression is associated with the medications he uses now. Since his FSGS is not getting any better, why not try some natural treatment for FSGS?

Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy is developed from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). It is to put two herbal bags on shen shu acupoints. Because the herbs in herbal bags are fully shattered so that the active ingredients can be penetrated into the kidneys easily. It can dilate blood vessels and block blood clotting to increase blood flow into the kidneys so as to improve ischemia and anoxia. It can also decompose immune complexes to eliminate kidney inflammation. Moreover, it can stop kidney fibrosis and speed up kidney self-healing. After a week’s treatment, pale skin turns red, cold limbs becomes warm, foamy urine gradually disappears, etc. There are also some other therapies to help you consolidate the curative effect, such as steam therapy, circle therapy, medicated bath, etc.

I think when kidney function improves, your son will be cheered up. If possible, please send his medical test report to igacure@gmail.com. Our doctors can help you make a treatment plan according to his medical condition for free.

Hope the above information is helpful for you. If you have any other questions on kidney disease or want to get more personalized and professional treatment suggestions, please leave a message below.
