2. A low salt diet

Much salt makes blood pressure elevated, leading to worse kidney function. Thus, fluids can’t be removed from body. Patients with FSGS should have a low salt diet.

The fundamental problem of swelling is decreased kidney function. Patients with swelling in FSGS need to recover kidney function.
