How Can I Reduce the Protein in My Urine with FSGS

How Can I Reduce the Protein in My Urine with FSGSKidney is a blood purification organ. When blood flows through kidneys, waste products and excess fluid is filtered out of the body, while the useful substances are retained in the body. But for FSGS patients, scar tissues develop on some glomeruli so that kidneys become leaky. As a result, protein leaks out. How can I reduce the protein in my urine with FSGS?

-Lower blood pressure

The leaky kidney is like a griddle. Under the circumstance of hypertension, a lot of protein spills. If you have high blood pressure, you should lower it as early as possible. ACEI or ARBs are the common used drugs for FSGS patients to decrease blood pressure and reduce protein leakage as well as protect kidney function.

-Inhibit kidney inflammation

The reason why your kidneys become leaky is that there is inflammation in the kidneys. Inflammation can increase the permeability of capillaries so that protein can go through them. When you have massive proteinuria, steroids and other immunosuppressants are often used to block inflammation and reduce permeability of capillaries so as to stop protein leakage.

-Reduce the intake of protein

The more protein you take, the more protein it leaks. But it does not mean you should avoid protein intake. To satisfy the need of body, moderate high quality protein intake is recommended. Egg white, lean meat, fish and poultry without skin are all high quality protein.

-Repair the damaged kidneys

Though the scarred kidney tissues can not be resumed, we can repair the inflamed ones to promote kidney function and reduce proteinuria. In China, we often use Traditional Chinese Medicine. Compared with those western medicine, TCM has few side effects. It can set up a good blood environment for kidney self-healing. And it can also provide the essential nutrients to speed up kidney recovery. Besides, it can decompose the immune complexes in the kidneys to eliminate kidney inflammation and degrade extracellular matrix to stop kidney fibrosis. With the improvement of kidney function, protein in urine will gradually disappear.

How can I reduce the protein in my urine with FSGS? With the above aspects, you can achieve a good therapeutic effect. If you would like a detailed treatment plan, please send your medical test report to igacure@gmail.com. After analyzing your case, our doctors will contact you.
