Can EGFR Improve in Scarred Kidneys

Question: My wife got diagnosed with kidney scarring and eGFR is at 30%. She is only 38 years old. Can eGFR improve in the scarred kidneys? Please suggest.

Can EGFR Improve in Scarred KidneysAnswer: Now your wife is at the borderline from stage 3 to stage 4 kidney disease. The scarred kidneys have been lost their life, so they can not be treated any more. But it does not mean you can do nothing, but just wait for the arrival of kidney failure.

Intact - inflamed - fibrosis - scar. For kidney tissues, they usually go through such a process. The scarred kidneys can not be repaired, but you can stop the progression to scar so as to protect the residual renal function, and inflamed kidney tissues can be repaired and restore their function completely.

Treatment for kidney patients with 30% renal function

The declined eGFR can not eliminate waste products and extra fluid from body adequately. Those excess substances build up in the blood and cause kidney damage directly and indirectly, so it is necessary for you to cleanse the blood and make internal environment good for kidney self-healing and other medication application.

In our hospital, Toxin-Removing Treatment is often used. This is a systemic treatment, which can increase urination, improve bowel movement and make sweat so as to increase the output of wastes and fluid from body. It can also restore the balance of anti-inflammatory cytokines and pro-inflammatory cytokines to reduce renal inflammation and control the disease from getting worse. Moreover, it can improve blood circulation and increase blood flow into kidneys so that enough essential elements such as oxygen, nutrients and active ingredients of medicine can be transported into nidus to speed up kidney recovery.

-After about one week’s treatment, her swelling will fade away. And there will be floccules in urine.

-After about half month’s treatment, her proteinuria, high blood pressure, anemia, back pain and so on will get relieved.

-After about one month’s treatment, her disease will be under control, and renal function will get improved.

All in all, eGFR can be improved in the scarred kidneys, but you should take correct treatment.
