How To Lower Creatinine Level In FSGS

How To Lower Creatinine Level In FSGSFor patients with FSGS, creatinine level is very higher than normal range. Creatinine is a waste produced when body transports energy to muscles. Because of decreased kidney function, kidney can’t eliminate large quantities from body. Thus, creatinine level elevates. High creatinine level does harm to patient with FSGS, and creatinine level is usually regarded as an important indicator of how severely kidney function declines. Here we will discuss how to avoid high creatinine level in FSGS.

Patients with FSGS should combine diet with treatment.

A healthy diet

Patients with FSGS need to pay attention to diet in daily life, as following:

1. Low in protein

Creatinine derives from much rich protein food, such as red meat and poultry. Thus, patients with FSGS should have a lower protein diet. However, they can eat some high quality protein food like fish, lean meat and milk. Because high quality protein can produce less wastes and also can supply essential amino acid to patients with FSGS.

2. A low salt diet

High blood pressure is a common complication of FSGS. Having more salt diet can contribute to elevation of blood pressure, which affects kidney function and lead to decline of kidney function. In this way, creatinine level will elevate. Consequently, patients with FSGS should have a lower salt diet in daily life.

3. Limit intake of phosphorus

Patients with FSGS can have deposition of phosphorus in body. Much intake of phosphorus can put more pressure on kidney, leading to further kidney damage. So more creatinine will build up in body. Patients with FSGS should limit intake of phosphorus.

Medicines for creatinine can only alleviate some diseases which cause elevation of creatinine. When patients with FSGS stop taking these medicines, high creatinine level reappears. Patients with FSGS should treat high creatinine level at its most fundamental. If kidney function revives, kidney can remove much creatinine from body.

Immunotherapy can achieve very good effects on recovery of kidney function, which is divided into six steps:

-Immunologic diagnosis.

-Immune block therapy.

-Immune tolerance therapy.

-Immunomodulatory therapy.

-Immune protection therapy.

-Immune clearance therapy.

With these six steps, kidney function can get recovered, and creatinine level decreases. Thus, it is wise that patients with FSGS use immunotherapy to treat FSGS and high creatinine level.
