Alternative Treatment for Kidney Failure Due to FSGS

When FSGS (Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis) develops to kidney failure stage, treatment will be totally different from that for FSGS in early stage. In that cases, dialysis and kidney transplant are regarded as the last two options, but actually it is not true. There is alternative treatment for kidney failure caused by FSGS and it is Blood Pollution Therapy.

Blood pollution therapy is a treatment that is recommended for patients with serious kidney problem. For patienits with kidney failure caused by FSGS, the treatment process is divided into three steps:

1. Purification of blood with combined methods

Purifying blood is the first step of Blood Pollution Therapy. Kidney is in charge of cleaning blood, so when kidneys shut down, some toxic wastes will build up in the blood or adhere to blood vessels, which can affect the hematogenous mechanism and clotting mechanism of our body. Also, when blood flow through kidney with toxins, further kidney damages are caused easily. Therefore, in Blood Pollution Therapy, different methods like acupuncture, medicated bath, circle therapy, immune adsorption and plasma exchange are used to cleanse blood.

2. Add necessary elements to blood

While blood flow through the body, it brings nutritions to our internal organs. However, for patients with kidney failure due to FSGS, there is full of toxins in their blood. Under such a condition, it fails to supply our body with necessary nutrition. Therefore, in Blood Pollution Therapy, the second step is to add necessary elements to the blood, so as to normalize blood.

3. Rebuild kidney function

The last step of Blood Pollution Therapy is to rebuild kidney function and this medical goal is achieved by persistent purification of blood and supplement of nutrition to blood which also help to recover the hematogenous mechanism and clotting mechanism of our body. In this way, some injured kidney intrinsic cells can be repaired with their self-curative ability and some kidney function can be regained successfully.

Blood pollution therapy is an alternative treatment for patients with kidney failure caused by FSGS, but it only works when patients still have a certain healthy kidney function. For these whose kidneys have shut down completely, it shows little treatment effects.
