Kidney Function 20 %, Creatinine 3.08, Glycose 138 with FSGS: How to Improve it

Question: I have FSGS. My kidney function is down to 20 %. My age is 78 years old. My creatinine level is 3.08, my glycose is 138. Please kindly suggest.

Kidney Function 20 %, Creatinine 3.08, Glycose 138 with FSGS: How to Improve itAnswer: From your description about your medical condition, we can see that your kidney function is only 20 %, creatinine level is 3.08 and glycose is 138. Normal creatinine level for healthy adult male ranges from 0.6 mg/dL to 1.2 mg/dL. And normal blood glucose level in humans is about 4 mmol/L or 72 mg/dL. Both your creatinine level and glycose are much higher than the normal level. If you can not control them, they will make your kidney function decline further and then you have to live on dialysis or wait for a kidney transplant.

Way to lower glycose

High blood sugar level for years can cause kidney failure, so you should bring it under control as early as possible. Generally speaking, diet, weight control, physical activity and medications are often used together to help you lower glycose level.

Way to improve kidney function

When your kidney function improves, creatinine level lowers. In our hospital, there are many particular therapies and medicines to help you repair the damaged kidneys and improve kidney function. First, we will help you cleanse your body to recover blood system so as to provide nutrient and oxygen to your damaged kidneys. Second, we will supplement essential substance for your damaged kidneys to help repair themselves. Though we can not promise that your kidneys can repair completely, we can make you enjoy your life without worrying about the symptoms and complications brought by FSGS.

Early treatment can help you avoid dialysis. If you can send your test report to igacure@gmail.com, we will help you make a more detailed treatment plan.
