What Is the Best Solution for Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis

Question: My sister has been diagnose with this disease focal segmental glomerulosclerosis. What is the best solution for this disease?

What Is the Best Solution for Focal Segmental GlomerulosclerosisAnswer: Focal Segmental Glomerulosclerosis is also called FSGS. The main cause of FSGS is that glomerular epithelial cells are injured. Due to low immune system, infections, colds, or some other factors, antigen invades into patients’ body and combines with antibody, then producing immune complexes. They will deposit on renal epithelial cells, leading to damage of the renal epithelial cells and causing inflammation. The barrier function of renal epithelial cells will also weaken, leading to the leakage of massive protein. Besides, the injured renal epithelial cells start renal fibrosis, and renal fibrosis will further damage the kidneys.

The conventional treatment for FSGS is to control the symptoms, such as proteinuria. But it can not regulate the immune system, restrain kidney inflammation and stop renal fibrosis. After years of research, we find that some of the Chinese medicine have such function. Some can dilate blood vessels and block blood clotting so as to improve blood circulation. Some can eliminate inflammatory factors and immune complexes so as to restrain inflammation. Some can degrade extracellular matrix to stop renal fibrosis. There are oral Chinese medicine and external therapy. Oral Chinese medicine is relatively bitter. Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy is an external therapy. After being shattered fully, these Chinese medicine will be penetrated into the damaged kidneys through skin with the help of osmosis device.

There are also other therapies to help you repair the damaged kidneys by cleansing waste from the blood, such as Medicated Bath, Circle Therapy, Enema Therapy and Moxibustion.

With systemic treatment, the damaged kidneys can gradually regain their ability and then you can live a normal life.
