Complementary Therapy for FSGS Patients

Complementary Therapy for FSGS PatientsFSGS is a kidney disorder in which the scarring occurs only in some of the glomeruli. Conventional treatment for FSGS is to use steroids and other immunosuppressants to block kidney inflammation so as to prevent the inflamed glomeruli from being scarred. But its disadvantage is that those medications have many side effects, which bring you other troubles. Is there any complementary therapy for FSGS? Many patients who have had enough the side effects of western medicine can not help asking such a question. Now go on reading to learn more information.

After years of research and clinical practice, we find that some of the Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) therapies can make up the shortcomings of western medicine. They can cooperate with each other to achieve a better therapeutic effect, for example, 4M treatment.

-Mai Kang Composition. It is a Chinese patent medicine, which can strengthen immune system to prevent infection and counteract the side effects caused by steroids, such as high blood sugar level, high cholesterol level and high blood pressure. It can also prevent vascular endothelial cells from being damaged by high toxin concentration in the blood.

-Medicated Foot Bath. It is to put feet into the diluted medicinal soup. There are many acupoints on feet. The active ingredients of herbs can go into your body to improve your blood circulation, which is good for kidney recovery. It can also help you have a good rest at night.

-Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy. It is to put two herbal bags on the shen shu acupoints. With the help of osmosis devices, the active ingredients can go into your kidneys. This therapy can dilate blood vessels and block blood clotting to increase blood flow into the kidneys. It can also eliminate inflammatory factors and decompose the deposited immune complexes to reduce kidney inflammation.

-Various Medicinal Soup. According to your medical condition, you should take different medicinal soup to remove stasis, regulate the qi flowing through the channels and cleanse the waste products.

All in all, 4M treatment can set up a good blood environment for kidney self-healing and provide the essential nutrients for the damaged kidneys to repair themselves. There are also some other therapies, such as circle therapy, enema therapy, steam therapy, acupoint application, acupuncture and moxibustion.
