How Long Can An IgA Nephropathy Patient Live with A GFR of 10

How Long Can An IgA Nephropathy Patient Live with A GFR of 10IgA Nephropathy (Berger’s Disease) is the most common form of glomerulonephritis. With its progression, glomerular filtration rate (GFR) becomes lower and lower. How long can an IgA Nephropathy patient live with a GFR of 10?

With the decline of GFR, waste products can not be filtered out of the body so that they build up in the blood. When your GFR is only left about 10, you are in end stage renal failure. Toxin concentration in the blood becomes much higher, which will affect the whole body. If you do not take any treatment, you may die in several weeks. If you take proper treatment, it is likely for you to live several years or whole life. Therefore, it is difficult to tell you how long you can live with a GFR of 10.

Conventional treatment is to do dialysis or do kidney transplant. About 80% patients undergo dialysis can live more than 1 year and about 60% patients can live more than 5 years. If you can take regular dialysis, it is likely for you to live more than 10 years. For those with kidney transplant, about 85% can live more than 1 year, and 60% can live more than 5 years and only 1% can live more than 10 years.

If you are afraid the side effects and complications of dialysis and kidney transplant, you can take alternative treatment, such as Blood Pollution Therapy, Immunotherapy, biotherapy, Traditional Chinese Medicine and so on to repair the damaged kidneys and resume part kidney function so as to help you improve your life quality and prolong your life expectancy.

The life expectancy of IgA Nephropathy patients with GFR 10 does not only depends on treatment, but also some other factors, such as complications. If you have severe complications now, you may live less years than those without.

How long can an IgA Nephropathy patient live with a GFR of 10? Different patients have different medical conditions, so it is difficult to give you an accurate answer. If you would like to acquire one, please send your medical test report to igacure@gmail.com. After assessment and analysis, we will reply you.
