What Could Be the Possible Cause of IgA Nephropathy

What Could Be the Possible Cause of IgA NephropathyFor some people, they live healthily without being troubled by IgA Nephropathy, while for some people, they have to suffer from IgA Nephropathy in their whole life. What could be the possible cause of IgA Nephropathy? After reading this article, you will find the answer.

IgA Nephropathy is associated with your immune system.

It is hard to avoid getting colds, cough, respiratory tract infections and some other aliments. They are all caused by bacteria and virus from invading into your body. And then our body begins to secrete antibodies such as IgA to fight against them. For IgA Nephropathy patients, their immune system and IgA are both abnormal so that they secrete excessive IgA. Those IgA may combine with each other to form IgA immune complexes. With blood circulation, they flow into the kidneys. Because the IgA receptors in the kidneys and their function are abnormal, IgA immune complexes can not be removed out of the kidneys and deposit in the glomeruli, leading to kidney inflammation, which over time cause kidney function impairment.

Treatment for IgA Nephropathy

From the above, we know the cause of IgA Nephropathy. Its treatment should focus on the following aspects:

-Block kidney inflammation to prevent further kidney damage.

-Cleanse the cycling immune complexes and decompose the deposited immune complexes to eliminate kidney inflammation

-Block abnormal immune reaction to reduce the production of immune complexes.

-Strengthen your innate immune system and then bacteria and virus can not enter into your body.

-Increase the kidneys’ tolerance to immune complexes and then even if there are immune complexes, they do not cause kidney inflammation.

Conventional treatment is to use steroids and immunosuppressants to block kidney inflammation. If you want to achieve all the goals, you should take advantage of some other treatment, such as Chinese medicine. Immunotherapy is such a therapy. Maybe you can have a try.
