Is kale ok for IgA Nephropathy patients?

Kale is a very helpful for our health, and also helpful for IgA Nephropathy patients in many ways. However, even though, IgA Nephropathy patients need to be careful about the intake of it as it is rich in potassium.

IgA Nephropathy is a kidney problem and progresses over time. Kidney helps to maintain electrolyte balance, so when kidney function is impaired severely due to IgA Nephropathy, electrolyte imbalance appears, which always refers to high potassium level, high phosphorus level and low calcium level. For IgA Nephropathy, eating kale more will help to raise calcium level in blood, but eating too much it will worsen hyperkalemia which is very harmful for our heart. Therefore, IgA Nephropathy patients need to calculate the amount of kale they can eat and test their potassium level regularly, so as to make sure it is in the the normal range.
