Does IgA Nephropathy Cause Nausea

Does IgA Nephropathy Cause NauseaSome IgA Nephropathy patients complain about nausea, which may affect their appetite. Not enough nutrient intake will make body weaker and weaker. Does IgA Nephropathy cause Nausea? The answer is certain. Nausea has a close relationship with IgA Nephropathy.

Now let’s have a quick look at how IgA Nephropathy causes nausea.

IgA Nephropathy is an immunodeficiency disease caused by IgA immune complexes depositing in the mesangial area, which over time lead to kidney function impairment. And then a lot of waste build up in the blood. Urea is the waste product of protein metabolism, which can be decomposed into ammonia by urease in the intestinal tract. Massive ammonia stimulates the gastrointestinal tract, leading to nausea. This feeling may become serious especially in the morning. Because at night people drink less water so that urea in the blood can not be diluted.

In addition, nausea may be related with the medicine you intake, such as steroids and other immunosuppressants. They have many side effects if used for long-term.

How to alleviate nausea for IgA Nephropathy patients?

-If you have morning sick, drinking some water may be helpful.

-If it is caused by medicine, talk with the doctor and change it into other natural remedies.

-Reduce urea in the blood. In diet, you should control the intake of protein and choose some high quality protein, such as egg white and lean meat. You can also add herbal tea into your diet, such as nettle leaf tea and dandelion tea. They are diuretic, which helps flush out urea from the blood. Some therapies, such as foot bath, full bath, steam therapy, circle therapy and enema therapy can draw out urea from your skin and intestinal tract so as to lower urea level.

-Repair the damaged kidneys and improve kidney function. Immunotherapy can help you cleanse immune complexes and some other waste to eliminate kidney inflammation. It can also regulate immune system so as to prevent kidneys from being damaged. With Immunotherapy, your damaged kidneys can be repaired and then symptoms such as nausea disappear gradually.
