IgA Nephropathy, Creatinine 6.1 and Hemoglobin 8.8: What Should I Do

Question: Sir, I am an IgA Nephropathy patient. My creatinine level is 6.1 and hemoglobin is 8.8. What should I do?

IgA Nephropathy, Creatinine 6.1 and Hemoglobin 8.8: What Should I DoAnswer: IgA Nephropathy is also known as Berger’s Disease. It is a kidney disease that occurs when an antibody called immunoglobulin A lodges in glomeruli. In the early stage of IgA Nephropathy, those IgA only causes kidney inflammation. If you can not eliminate kidney inflammation, it can impair your kidney function. Creatinine is the common used indicators of kidney function. It does not increase until more than 50% kidney function loses. Now your creatinine is as high as 6.1, which implies your kidneys are severely damaged. The damaged kidneys can not secrete enough hemoglobin, so your hemoglobin level decreases. Low hemoglobin level can make you fatigue, shortness of breath, pale skin, headache, etc.

What you should do is to repair the damaged kidneys to improve kidney function, otherwise, it can cause further damage to your kidneys so that you have to do dialysis to maintain your life in the remaining years.

IgA Nephropathy is an autoimmune disease, so we should set about regulating the abnormal immune system. Immunotherapy is a combination of western medicine and Chinese medicine. It can cleanse those IgA and its immune complexes from the blood to reduce their deposition in the kidneys. It can also remove inflammatory factors to reduce kidney inflammation. Besides, it can increase the kidneys’ tolerance to immune complexes to prevent inflammation. And it can block abnormal immune reaction to reduce the production of IgA and immune complexes. After a period of treatment, your kidneys can gradually regain their ability. And then your creatinine level will go down and hemoglobin will increase.

Apart from medical treatment, you should follow a renal-friendly diet, keep good mood, do exercise regularly, have good rest and so on. They are all good for you to reinforce therapeutic effect. For more information, please contact online doctor or leave a message below.
