What Should I Do for An IgA Nephropathy Patient to Improve Creatinine 5.11

Question: My child is suffering from IgA Nephropathy with creatinine level about 5.11. She is not on dialysis. What should I do for her to improve?

What Should I Do for An IgA Nephropathy Patient to Improve Creatinine 5.11Answer: To judge whether your kidneys are functioning normally or not, we usually see the fluctuation of our creatinine level. Creatinine is a kind of waste product that is passed out of our body by kidneys. Creatinine level does not increase until more than 50% kidney function has lost. Now her creatinine level is as high as 5.11, which is far beyond the normal range (0.5-1.2 mg/dL). High creatinine level causes many complications, such as severe swelling, high blood pressure, deep breath, poor appetite, weakness, headache, etc. Different patients have different medical conditions. What symptoms do she have now? If she feels extreme body malaise, she may have to do dialysis as early as possible to relieve those malaise. She does not have so much body malaise, she can take the following treatment to improve her kidney function so as to lower creatinine level.

IgA Nephropathy is associated with immune deficiency, so we should set about regulating the abnormal immune system. Immunotherapy combines western medicine and Chinese medicine to cleanse IgA and its immune complexes from the blood so as to reduce their deposition in the kidneys, which reduce kidney inflammation and further kidney damage. This therapy can also block abnormal kidney inflammation and increase kidneys’ tolerance to immune complexes so as to eliminate kidney inflammation. Moreover, it can improve blood circulation to help kidney recovery. After a period of treatment, indicators of kidney function such as creatinine, urea and GFR improve and then your child can live a normal life.

What should I do for an IgA Nephropathy patient to improve creatinine 5.11? As the parents of IgA Nephropathy children, we should choose the most suitable treatment plan for them to resist the disease. Only in this way can the children grow up healthily without worrying about kidney failure.
