Albumin +++ in Urine and Nephrotic Syndrome: How to Alleviate It

Question: My child had a Nephrotic Syndrome attack one year back when he was 12 years old. Now after about 11 months, routine urine test has shown +++ albumin. Please suggest.

Albumin +++ in Urine and Nephrotic Syndrome: How to Alleviate ItAnswer: A feature of Nephrotic Syndrome is massive proteinuria. Due to some pathological factors, the filtration membrane of glomeruli is damaged, for example, its permeability increases or negative charge reduces. This can lead to a lot of protein leakage, which is far beyond the reabsorption of renal tubule. As a result, proteinuria occurs.

Conventional treatment for Nephrotic Syndrome

From what you said, I can see that your child has under treatment for 11 month, but albumin in urine is still +++. Albumin +++ means there is still a lot of protein. What treatment is your child under now? The conventional treatment for Nephrotic Syndrome is usually steroid treatment. This kind of medicine can inhibit kidney inflammation, decrease permeability and block the holes in the filtration membrane so as to stop protein leakage. But not all patients response to steroid. And it has many side effects for child, such as inhibit growth, gain weight, etc. As to the steroid-resistant patients, we recommend some natural treatment.

Natural treatment for Nephrotic Syndrome

Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy is a breakthrough in treating kidney disease. It is to penetrate the micronized Chinese medicine into the kidneys via skin by osmosis devices. Because the active ingredients can reach the nidus directly, this therapy take effects more quickly than Traditional Chinese Medicine. There are also some adjunctive therapies, such as foot bath, full bath, enema therapy, steam therapy, circle therapy, etc. You can choose the one that is most suitable for your medical condition.

The combination of these therapies can remove the inflammatory factors and diseased tissues from the filtration membrane. And they can also activate DNA duplication in the injured kidney tissues to speed up their recovery. Moreover, they can increase blood into the kidneys and detoxify the blood to set up a good blood environment for kidney self-healing. After a period of treatment, your damaged kidneys regain their ability and then proteinuria disappears.
