Constipation, as a symptom of nephrotic syndrome, it also can be caused by severely restricted diet. Nephrotic syndrome is not a simple kidney disease, but a group of clinical manifestations which need to limit the intake of some certain foods. Generally speaking, the diet of a high-quality protein, low potassium, low phosphorus and low sodium is highly suggested to them. Moreover, many vegetables and fruits are also should be avoided. But it is a pity that vegetables and fruits are the major sources of fiber which can contribute to the movement of stool. Then, undoubtedly, constipation occurs easily in nephrotic syndrome.

3. The limitation of fluid

In addition to limit diet intake, the amount of fluid also need be restricted strictly for nephrotic syndrome patients. Long-term of fluid limitation also contributes to constipation, a symptom of nephrotic syndrome.
