Causes for Hyperlipemia in Nephrotic Syndrome

Causes for Hyperlipemia in Nephrotic SyndromeHyperlipemia is one of the big concerns for Nephrotic Syndrome patients. And for this reason, they need to choose what they eat carefully. Well, wht is the cause for hyperlipemia in Nephrotic Syndrome? And how to treat this condition effectively?

Causes for hyperlipemia in Nephrotic Syndrome

Hyperlipemia refers to there are excess lipids like cholesterol, LDL (low density lipoprotein) and triglyceride and so on. For Nephrotic Syndrome patients, they may sufer from hyperlipemia due to different factors.

1. In Nephrotic Syndrome, hypercholesteremia is always associated with low proein in blood. As we know protein is the basic of life. For Nephrotic Syndrome patients, large amounts of protein are lost from urine, leading to hypoproteinemia which means the protein in blood is less than 30g/L. Under such a condition, to meet the demand of the body, liver begins to synthetize lipoprotein and this can countribute to hyperlipemia.

2. For high triglyceride, it appears mainly due to metabolic disturbance. Kidney is in charge of excreting wastes out of the body, so when one is affected by Nephrotic Syndrome, large amounts of toxins will buld up in the blood, which can affect the metabolic of lipids.

How to treat hyperlipemia in Nephrotic Syndrome?

Since the occurrence of hyperlipemia is closely associated with decline of kidney function, repairing kidney damages to improve kidney function is very necessary. For Nephrotic Syndrome patients, when their kidney function is improved, toxins in the blood will be removed away, and also protein leakage is stopped successfully.

In most of the cases, patients are just prescribed with oral medicines that can help to control high blood pressure and protein leakage. These medications are helpful, but they can not repair kidney damages, so when they stop taking medicine or reduce medicine dose, illness relapses and hyperlipemia becomes more serious. As for the treatment that can bring permanent treatment effects, Nephrotic Syndrome patients can try Micro-Chinese Medicine Osmotherapy in which Chinese medicines are used externally. With this treatment, not only some injured kidney intrinsic cells can be repaired, hyperlipemia problem can be solved fundamentally.
