-Poor immune system. Protein is an essential component of antibodies. When there is not enough protein to make antibodies, your immune system becomes weak so that it is likely for you to suffer from various aliments, such as cold, fever, cough, etc.

-Muscle weakness, fatigue or cramps, poor appetite, etc.

-Liver problems such as ascites.
