What Causes Weakness in Nephrotic SyndromeWith Nephrotic Syndrome, patients often have weak feeling. Such feeling may make you lose the passion in your life and work. What causes weakness in Nephrotic Syndrome?

Massive protein leakage

Protein is an important component of our body. With Nephrotic Syndrome, a lot of protein leaks into the urine. In such case, it is likely for you to suffer from hypoproteinemia, which may make you feel weak.

Diet restrictions

In order to control Nephrotic Syndrome better, patients often follow a restricted diet. For example, to reduce protein leakage, a low protein diet is needed. To alleviate swelling, sodium intake should be lowered. But to restrict some food does not mean you should avoid them. If you can not eat enough protein and sodium to satisfy the need of body, you may suffer from weakness. Besides, because protein and fat are bother limited, if you can not increase the intake of food high in carbohydrate, you can not absorb enough calory. In such case, weakness occurs.

Without timely and effective treatment, Nephrotic Syndrome can impair your kidney function. When your kidneys can not secrete enough erythropoietin to make red blood cells, your muscles can not get enough oxygen. So they get tired easily.
